The lack of nightmares is certainly comforting.
I hope those with severe injuries have recovered or are in the process of doing so. I was only able to help in the infirmary for a short time before it was deemed that there were too many in the room.

It was rather lovely. Not as fulfilling as it could be, but lovely nonetheless.
I find myself wary of practicing these spells, however, particularly when it comes to trusting one of my fellow colleagues enough to allow them to return the 'favour'. I will undoubtedly do as I am asked, though I certainly feel that it will be necessary to choose wisely among the few I truly trust.

The oppressive scent from earlier this morning has a lingering quality. I do hope it will disappear before I try to sleep, however, as I'm sure it will not help.

In spite of the newest challenges set before us to accomplish before our next meeting with Him and the fantastic pain pulsating from my arm, I cannot help but feel an overwhelming sense of contentment. Now having joined my father as a member of the Dark Lord's ranks, I believe I have finally begun to truly bring honour to my family's name.
The Mark is beautiful.
I find myself eager for tonight.

In opposition to how I'm sure most of my fellow classmates feel, I am personally rather grateful to the professors for their extra assignments this week. I've become a bit of an insomniac lately and I'd rather not use potions so frequently to induce sleep, so it's rather nice to have something productive to do.
